I send it in to a third party repair shop to replace the GPU. However, about a month ago it died again with the same symptoms. Since at the time Apple's repair extension program was still in place, I got the logic board replaced for free. In 2016, my Macbook first showed signs of a broken GPU. I have a 15" Macbook Pro from early 2011 and am trying to figure out whether the logic board is broken.
